So today is my first day at my new job with Adams and Knight in Avon, Connecticut and I couldn't be more stoked.

After almost 2.5 years with my friends at Humongo, My fiance and I have decided to move a bit closer to our family and friends and pursue other opportunities. The last few years with Humongo have been amazing and gave me the privilege of working with some amazing creative people and had the opportunity to do work on some killer projects. The last few years have taught me a few core Humongo life lessons that I plan on bringing with me to my new position.

Lesson 1: Try new stuff, nothing great comes from repeating yourself.

Lesson 2: It's ok to fail, learn from your mistakes and figure out how to make it work in the future.

Lesson 3: Communicate with each other!

Lesson 4: Nothing is imposible, or at least you shouldn't think like that at the start of anything.

I am grateful for the opportunities I have had over the last 2.5 years and look forward to continue to make awesome creative work in the Connecticut design world!

A surprise in the mail from @elementsdesign

I came home to find this package waiting for me from Elements. I unwrapped it to find a very slick new mug (striking a pose next to my Mrs. Potato Head) and some cashews for my snacking satisfaction. All this for simply becoming their 300th fan on Facebook. Sweet, Thanks Elements!
